From the day I first met Al, randomely skating in the streets of London in like 1997/98 I could tell he was gonna be one of the great ones. What first struck me was his certain smooth ninja way of skating that I had never seen before… so we started filming and working to get clips for the new Bomb Squad video I was working on with Lennen back home. I began to give Albert some ideas of things that I thought he may be capable of and never before had I been so impressed with how easily he was able to execute his moves. Add to that one of the nicest and most chill people in the blade game and you have a great half irish half japanese dude named Al Hooi. -Sean Sea

More than half my lifetime, I think 16 years.

How do you prepare your body for being a proffessional skater?

I don’t.

What other activities do you enjoy doing?

Partying, Photography, Relaxing.

Who are some of your influences in skating?

I get influenced by anyone that skates, every blader has different qualities, all of which inspire me.

Who are you influenced by outside of skating?

Family, Friends and Musicians.

Tru makio’s with different grabs.
